Mixing and casting the large quantity material required to produce big rollers – TDI material in the short stipulated time was a major challenge in production. The material had a pot life of around 5-6  minutes, and if it was not being filled in time, the material would start to turn into gell and then solidify. Further on, faults in manual mixing led to emergence of patches and layers on rollers and getting the right hardness proved to be extremely difficult.

Time was the key issue with the manufacturing process. Twin Engineers’ three-component machine with a high flow rate of 6 Kg/min solved the production challenge. The machine ensured that PU rollers were produced faster and flawlessly.
