Achieving a shot size of 0.25 gms and yet ensure a flawless high speed production were key to ensuring profitability for client’s operations. The potting process used specialised PU material, imported specifically for the jobs, with very short pot life. The teams from client and Twin met to deliberate on possible solutions that would help achieve desired production goals with Client’s material.

Twin’s team studied the process parameters and found its standard Meter Mix Dispensing to be suitable for potting all three types of sensors. Further, Twin’s team developed a Chiller arrangement in the MMD Machine to ensure adequate pot life of the material, thus making it suitable for the material.

The machine continues to deliver superb quality with consistent production.
