The Client, among one of India’s largest Transformer manufacturers, had considered several systems, imported and locally built, to automate its operations. While the imported systems involved very high capital and operational expenses, the locally made systems offered very low reliability in terms of performance. Twin’s team met the Client and showcased its expertise in automating a variety of mixing and dispensing processes for epoxy, PU and other performance polymers.

The team understood client’s challenges, expectations, skill level of labor, products and end client demands to design an innovative Epoxy Casting Plant. The Client was impressed with the concept and decided to invest in Twin’s technology.

After an in-depth study, Twin’s team developed a system that was flexible, portable and compact enough to easily fit in to Client’s existing manufacturing facilities with very little change. This not just saved costs, but ensured quick integration with the existing APG process. The system was built in a span of few weeks and went operational almost immediately. Twin ensured a dedicated team of experts was always available at the Client’s location to ensure seamless commissioning and scale-up of production.

The Portable APG plant helped the client to improve quality, through-put and ensure consistency in mixing and dispensing. Reduced labor, cleaning costs, material wastage were other significant benefits, realised by the client.
